ABC RADIO NETWORKS AND DEES ENTERTAINMENT
ANNOUNCE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

DALLAS (Dec. 18, 2008) – ABC Radio Networks announced today it has signed a development agreement with Dees Entertainment, the programming company owned by prominent national radio personality Rick Dees. Dees, who has hosted the popular Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 since 1983, will work jointly with ABC Radio Networks to develop original content targeting a variety of demographics including the coveted 18-49 set. As part of the agreement, The Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 will be syndicated by the network.

“Rick is one of the most respected talents in radio and we’re thrilled to add his industry knowledge and keen understanding of the young-end audience to our portfolio,” said Carl Anderson, Senior Vice President for Programming and Distribution. “He has built an illustrious career rooted in his ability to connect with listeners. I’m confident his experience will become a strong advantage for our platforms.”

The partnership aims to create a variety of contemporary radio products that will reach across multiple formats. The network will also be growing the existing affiliate base for The Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, which now reaches more than 70 million listeners worldwide each week.
